Strengths of EOS
What kind of accounting firm is EOS? Why do our clients choose EOS over other accounting firms?
At EOS, we provide the same level of quality that you would expect from the larger accounting firms while going the extra mile to explain U.S. GAAP and tax information in an easy-to-understand manner (in both English and Japanese), all at a reasonable price.
Benefits of working with EOS
- Partners and managers with large accounting firm experience will explain carefully in English and Japanese based on their vast knowledge and experience.
- Unlike the larger accounting firms, all levels of our professional staff maintain close relationships with each other, regardless of position. As a result, the issues, questions, and problems received by less experienced staff can be quickly reviewed by managers and partners within the firm. Larger accounting firms require a delay in completion of audits due to heavy internal control procedures. The final review of audit procedures is conducted by the larger accounting firms’ national or head office. Often, the larger accounts with SEC filings such as the 10-K and 10-Q for public companies will be prioritized over all other clients. EOS is not limited to such prioritizations and strives to complete audits or reviews in a timely manner.
- The tax and audit departments are often separate organizations or legal entities at larger accounting firms, but at EOS, the two departments work closely together. Therefore, the information obtained by the accounting and auditing department can be shared with the tax department quickly and easily to minimize duplicate information requests. In addition, the EOS professionals assigned to each account will typically stay assigned from year to year, allowing for increased efficiency and understanding of the client situation as opposed to high turnover or reassignments often experienced at the larger accounting firms.
- We provide a wide range of services from standard taxation issues such as payroll calculations and sales tax, to tax compliance such as transfer pricing and financial statements audits; all in a one-stop shop. In addition, at EOS, the point of contact and in-charge service provider are usually the same professional for consistent work. At EOS, direct service will be provided by those close to the work, who understands each client’s situation.
- With 7 offices strategically located in the United Sates and additional offices anticipated in the future, we serve clients in any region of the United States. Due to the location of our offices, we are not typically required to fly to perform an audit of our clients.
